I love fish.  Not to eat, but to look at, to watch how they glide so beautifully through the water, live amongst so many different species, to think about how they survive.  Also, I’m a Pisces, the zodiac symbol represented by two fish.  I was also born in the Hebrew month of Adar, also represented in the Hebrew mazalot (meaning constellations) as Dagim (fish).

2023 is off to a great start at Kol Ami. This past Shabbat, young and young- at- heart alike gathered for a soulful Kol HaNeshama Friday Shabbat service in the round, followed by a delicious potluck dinner. Shalom Kol Ami!

Is it Spring yet?  Not yet, but we can start to plan for Spring.  I love being Jewish and one of the wonderful things about Judaism is that many of our holidays follow the agricultural seasons.  This month we will be celebrating Tu BiShvat, Jewish Earth Day, as it is sometimes referred to. I love this holiday and can’t wait to head to the park to experience nature with my Kol Ami family!
