Tanya Spivey 

Director of Operations

Tanya Spivey was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Digital Film and Television Production from Missouri State University, as well as a Master of Science degree in Tourism, Hospitality, and Event Management from the University of Florida.

Tanya has been working in the Jewish community her whole life. She became a Bat Mitzvah at Congregation B’nai Amoona of St. Louis, and her first job was assisting with their High Holy Day programming. She spent three years as Yearbook Editor at Camp Ben Frankel of Carbondale, IL, was the Assistant Director to the religious school at Congregation B’nai Amoona, and was the Special Events Chair for the St. Louis JPro (Jewish Professionals) Board from 2023-2025. Prior to joining Congregation Kol Ami in 2025, Tanya spent a decade at Congregation B’nai Amoona as their Data and Technology Manager.
