Welcome to Kol Yeladim Religious School!
Where Jewish Learning Comes to Life!

At Kol Yeladim, our vibrant and engaging religious school serves students from Pre-K through 7th grade, fostering a love for Judaism through interactive learning, creativity, and community. Our students don’t just learn about Judaism—they live it, building friendships, traditions, and a lifelong connection to their heritage.

A Meaningful & Dynamic Curriculum

Our well-rounded curriculum covers seven key areas that help shape a strong Jewish foundation:

  • T’fillot (Prayers): Learning the beauty of Jewish prayer through interactive services and music.

  • Torah & History: Exploring our sacred texts and Jewish past in a way that resonates with young minds.

  • Israel: Building a personal connection to the land, culture, and people of Israel.

  • Jewish Values & Ethics: Guiding students to apply Jewish teachings to modern life.

  • Jewish Identity: Encouraging pride and self-expression within our faith.

  • Holidays: Bringing Jewish traditions to life through hands-on celebrations.

  • Hebrew Language: Strengthening Hebrew skills to enhance understanding and participation.

What Makes Kol Yeladim Special?

Beyond the classroom, we offer enriching activities that make learning fun and engaging:

🎶 T’fillot (Prayer Services) – Our students start each Wednesday session with a spirited prayer service led by our Rabbi. With enthusiastic participation, students get to lead prayers, ask thought-provoking questions, and connect deeply with Jewish traditions.

🎨 Chuggim (Specialty Activities) – Every Sunday, students take part in exciting 30-minute activity sessions, which rotate weekly and include art, drama, cooking, Israeli games, holiday rituals, or even a science café. We also incorporate time in the library to nurture a love of Jewish literature.

Ask-the-Rabbi – Every few weeks, our students get the incredible opportunity to have an open Q&A with the Rabbi! They eagerly prepare questions, sparking thoughtful discussions and deeper engagement with their learning.

🎉 Special Events & Celebrations Throughout the year, we bring Jewish holidays and synagogue traditions to life with joyful community events:

  • Holiday Celebrations: Pizza in the Sukkah, Hanukkah Party, Tu B’Shevat Seder, Purim Carnival, and more!

  • Hands-On Experiences: Hamentashen baking with Sisterhood, Passover programs, and Challah baking.

  • Synagogue Traditions: World Wide Wrap, Simchat Torah Program, Purim Spiel, and other enriching experiences that connect students to the broader Jewish community.
