Chanukah is over, the annual Jewish celebration of Chinese food and a movie is almost upon us, and the secular New Year is a week away. Where has the time gone?
Brotherhood has been busy as usual. Our Txoko Culinary Club, led by Glenn Yancey, has been a great new addition to Brotherhood and a popular program, attracting a unique crowd, all who have had a fun time cooking, eating, and schmoozing. Much like Brotherhood won an FJMC Torch Award for Firearm Safety Day last year, I plan on applying for a Torch Award for this program as well. Thanks to Glenn’s leadership and creativity, we deserve another plaque!
On Tuesday, January 16, 2024, our very own Rabbi Rachel Blatt will lead us in “Torah on Tap,” where we will study Torah while socializing and having a beverage at Glory Days Grill, right down the road from Kol Ami. Open to all, please join us at 8 PM.
