Shalom, Kol Ami!
Hip hip hooray, hip hip hooray, summer is finally here! We had a wonderful Kol Yeladim School year and now we are on summer break! I would like to thank my teachers and staff for making this a fun-filled, and of course, learning-filled year! First, I want to say goodbye to Beth Grabasch; thank you so much for a wonderful year with our 3rd graders! Beth did an amazing job and because she is so amazing, she was promoted at work and can no longer commit to teaching at Kol Yeladim. She will be missed! We are excited to have Mk Williams, Alissa Chernin, Lauren Dunayer, and Jen Zimmer returning to our school with more fun and exciting lessons for our 2023-2024 school year! And our school can’t run without our Madrichim, Davina Horowitz and Hayden Cross! Thank you for all your dedication to our students; they love having you in our classes (it doesn’t hurt that you are the bearer of all the snacks!).
May was a busy month for our Kol Yeladim students! A huge shout out to Samantha Ruffkess and Mitch Weiss for planning our end of the year congregational picnic!!! The food was delicious. Thank you Brotherhood and Sisterhood! The water slide was refreshing on a hot spring day in Florida, and the Kona Ice was a special treat!
