Our Rabbi
Rabbi Robert Judd
Rabbi Judd, a.k.a. Rabbi Bob, received his rabbinic ordination and a Master’s Degree in Rabbinics from the Zeigler School of Rabbinic Studies in Los Angeles in 2001. Before coming to Kol Ami in July 2009, Rabbi Bob served congregations in New York and South Carolina.
Rabbi Bob holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature (minor: German) from Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania. He also holds a Master’s Degree in English from the State University of New York—Binghamton. From 1991-97, Rabbi Bob pursued a doctorate in English and American Literature at the University of Tulsa in Oklahoma. He has completed his coursework, his comprehensive exams, and is hard at work on “his long paper.”
Rabbi Bob follows the Yankees and Steelers rabidly. He enjoys working out at the gym, reading, riding his bike, and cooking. When not at Kol Ami or pursuing one of his hobbies, he can be found walking his dogs, Schatten and P.J., around Carrollwood Village.
Our Hazzan
Hazzan Jodi Sered-Lever
Hazzan Jodi M. Sered-Lever received her cantorial investiture from the H.L. Miller Cantorial School of the Jewish Theological Seminary. She holds an M.A. in Jewish education from the William Davidson Graduate School of Jewish Education at JTS. She earned a B.A. in history from Columbia University and a B.A. in sacred music from the Albert List College at JTS. Prior to coming to Kol Ami, Hazzan Sered-Lever served congregations in North Brunswick, NJ and Kansas City, MO. A native of Wilmette, IL, she faithfully roots for all of her Chicago teams. Married to Rabbi Aaron M. Lever, they have a daughter, Shayna Renée Sered-Lever.

Executive Director
Diane Anderson
Diane F. Anderson joined our staff of professionals as Executive Director on October 1, 2007. Diane earned her Bachelor’s degree from Eckerd College and comes to us with a strong background in accounting, business management and human resources as well as valuable non-profit experience.
